Autumn News Letter 2011

Although the summer didn't turn out to be a scorcher, from our own records and feed back from many of you it still has been a very good year for sales. This seems to be getting better year on year.

Also our prices are at an all time low (with our special offers) so there is even more profit for our customers. We have a huge product range to choose from and another three just been launched plus a brand new addition to our nut range with two further nut lines available to order (details of these are in this news letter). All this is what makes Tubz number one!.

There has been much going on behind the scenes and we will have some exciting announcements to make over the coming months; more major branded products are on the way that will be exclusive to Tubz.

New Style Product Stickers

We are the first to stock these in this country. Tubz Treats come from old family company using only the highest quality ingredients.They are very similar the Galaxy Minstrels made of milk chocolate with a soft centre and a crisp outer coating so they don't melt in your hand. But they are a lot cheaper......so you have the choice. Another first from Tubz trying to save you money.

Tubz Creme Caramels

We at Tubz are really excited about these foam sweets, again no one has anything like these and they are different to anything we sell at present. As with creme caramels you have two flavours, lovely smooth custard and the contrasting flavour of caramel. A marriage made in heaven plus they are colourful, so will really look good in your vending towers.

Tubz Chilli Pepper Jellies Sweets

Well what can we say about these jelly sweets? They are exclusive to Tubz and no one (and we mean no one) has anything quite like these. They have the sweet taste of cherries to start with and then you wait for it and you get a hot kick from the chilli pepper. You will either love them or hate them but they will be a huge hit and everyone will be talking about them, so order now and get all your customers talking and of course buying, which they will.

Tubz Cola Twists

Another first from Tubz, these cola-flavoured jelly sweets are very similar to the strawberry twists that we stocked some time ago but had to drop because of delivery problems. We have now found another manufacturer offering far better quality. These are really mouth watering and if you like cola bottles you will love these.

Tubz Chilli Crunchy Coated Peanuts

These coated nuts are a welcome addition to our very popular nut range. They have a lovely crunchy outer covering with a good spicy taste that is not too hot but just right, which makes them so moorish that your customers will be coming back time and time again.

Dry Roasted Peanuts - Everyones favourite and a real quality product from a new supplier: we have found a family company that has been processing nuts for generations.

Chilli Dusted Peanuts - They really have a bite to them.

Both of these will go down well in the licensed premises and offer greater choice in the nut range.

Mr Tubz and The Olympics 2012

With the Olympics less than a year away, Mr Tubz has been waiting for his chance to carry the Olympic Torch. Doing his bit for his country.

Did you know that the first documented Olympic games was in 776BCE organized by a son of Zeus. It was revived to its present form, more or less by a Frenchmen called Coubertin in 1892 who was on the commitee. Strange sports that have been in the Olympics in the past but have been dropped include: live pigeon shooting, horse long jump, Indian club swinging. Gliding was going to be included in the 1940 games but was cancelled because of the war!!

Pringles

For all our customers that have Pringles Vending Towers, you have probably struggled the same as us for stock. It all started when Proctor and Gamble sold Pringles to an American company. A factory in Europe that supplies the UK walked out after a threat of redundancies. This seems to have been resolved but of course stocks got depleted and won’t be back to normal until early October.

We managed to obtain some, so if you are stuck we have four flavours available Sour Cream, BBQ, Salt & Vinegar and Original all at £4.89 per tray of 12. For those who have one of our Bookers cards we understand that they will have a special promotion on from 12th October to the 8th November, all non price marked 40g.

Why not take advantage of our Maxi Tubz and never get caught short again.. We can really do some special prices and you can fill them with whatever is on offer at the time and it doesn't have to be confectionary it can be anything as long as it fits and there is a profit in it. So stock up with some boxes of Maxi Tubz and be ready; they never go out of date and are a fantastic back up.

Cigarette vending Ban

After months of court appearances and appeals the High Court Judges have up-held the Government’s decision to ban all cigarette vending in public places so all cigarettes will have to be sold from behind a counter or bar. Also within a short space of time it will be against the law to even have cigarettes on public display so they will have to be sold from under the counter like a naughty schoolboy asking for a packet of condoms!

The ban on all cigarette vending machines comes into effect from the 1st October 2011. Scotland & Wales will follow. So there will be many outlets looking at other avenues to recoup the loss of income. This is where Tubz towers come into their own with our site finding and we are already getting lots of enquiries from potential sites so please contact your customer service manager for more details.

Did you know that the first cigarette machines appeared in America in 1926 and they had their heyday in the 1950s? So from October 1st 2011 you can say good bye to them forever.
